Mission and Objectives

The journal Management&Marketing – Craiova was founded in 2003 with the first edition of the workshop “Competences in Management and Marketing”. The workshop is a periodically held scientific forum of discussions among personalities from the two sectors of activity, university teaching staff and specialists from companies.

The journal has a pronounced interdisciplinary character and encourages the expression of new ideas and positive practices that can be delivered as research, synthesis, case studies or original methodologies. The journal encourages the young researchers to publish the most valuable scientific results from the doctoral schools.

The goal is the dissemination of the most significant knowledge resulted from research in the area of management and marketing such as to incorporate this knowledge into resources for organizational development.

The general thematic of the journal is consistent with some major areas such as: management, strategic management, project management, public management, international management, marketing research, marketing strategies and policies, international marketing, business administration in trade, tourism, services and others.

The journal Management&Marketing – Craiova is published twice a year (May and November) by Universitaria Press and is endorsed by the Romanian Management Academic Society.

Acceptance of publication is the result of a rigorous selection procedure based on double-blind evaluation.

The journal Management&Marketing – Craiova is available online and grants open access to its papers. Also, the journal is indexed in scientific databases: RePEc, Doaj, EBSCO.
